Pumpkin Walk

Rusty, Will, and Bryce on the bus!
Rusty.
Bryce.
Mommy, didn't want to miss out on the fun!

What a great time, this was a first time ever going to the Pumpkin Walk and it was a blast! What creative people their are. We had a family friend go with us and the boys had a great time. So as we were walking back to get into our car, I asked Bryce what his favorite part was, and with no hesitation said the bus ride! The simplest things to kids are sometimes the funnest.(we got on a shuttle bus to get to the pumpkin walk.) So we couldn't leave out a picture on the bus. My favorite scene had to be the emergency room, how gross!!

Brotherly Love...

I love having two boys that usually adore each other!! They play together, bath together, sleep together! They are truly brothers attached at the hip!! Yes, they have their moments, duke it out, and keep going like nothing ever happened. I love watching them play and help one another when one of them needs help. Or when I hear Rusty say,"Bryce I love you." It just makes me smile. They are best friends and couldn't live without each other!

On Top of Old Smokey!

Tonight we decided to make Spaghetti with meatballs. Bryce and Rusty love it, and love to sing the famous song, On top of old smokey, all covered with cheese, I lost my poor meatball, when somebody sneezed..etc. It has turned out being one of the songs we sing before bedtime and of course we have to make up our own verses too!! It can sometimes get pretty hilarious!! I enjoy cooking and letting the kids try new things, they are good sports most of the time.
Have you ever watched someone eating spaghetti? It is quite entertaining at my house thank goodness I took the pictures instead of being in them!! What messy boys!

Family Night Meal!

Meal in a pumpkin!! Great fun for the whole family!!!

Can I just say this was such a great, fun, festive dinner! It was so fun for the boys to help! You put together your hamburger mixture, then cut the lid off the pumpkin, scoop out the seeds and goo and fill it up. After it's cooked you get to decorate and the boys had a great time up on the table. The best part was definitely getting to eat it. It was really good, even the boys thought so! If you want to try something fun for Halloween time this was a big hit at my house, Thank you Irene!

For Real?!

Kirby showing me his muscles again!!! What a hunk!

I can't believe it! We have trees!! I know this sounds crazy, but we have talked about planting trees for 6 years now and that is all it's amounted to. Today Kirby and the boys were working in the yard getting some odds and ends done before snow falls. After lunch they decided to ride up town to the store. Awhile later they pulled up in the driveway with 2 trees in the back of the truck!! Yahoo!! Someday we will have some shade! I have the greatest hubby, he is always surprising me in ways I would never suspect! He's the best! I couldn't ask for anything more.Love you babe. (It was a great surprise:)

Friday Night Fun!

We had such a great night. We invited Kyle,Emily, and the kids up for movie night! I put together a little dinner of Sloppy Joe's, Potato Salad,Chips, Pickles,Cheese, and Olive toothpicks, and for dessert Pumpkin Pie..(My favorite!) It's so fun to get cousins together and watch how much they adore each other.. The parents didn't have to bad of a time either,it was fun to get to talk and laugh about good times!! We watched the Indiana Jones movie and the kids were glued to it. They ate up all that gorey stuff. Unfortunately the night ended around 12:30 a.m. and the kids all sacked out up stairs! What good kids!!

5 Months Already!

This is my first glimpse of Lacey.

My baby is growing way to fast. She weighs 14 pounds 7 ounces and is doing great. So far she hasn't been sick, so we are glad about that. We all love her and are so blessed she came to our family.

The day Lacey was born we had to be at the hospital at 5:30 a.m. I was so excited I couldn't stand it. They gave me an IV,took blood and monitored the baby until 7:00 a.m. Then I walked down the hall in my cute gown to the surgery room, where they gave me my spinal and prepped me for a c-section. They started surgery at 7:30 a.m. and at 7:48 a.m. Lacey was born!! Nothing better than hearing that cry for the first time.. We were so in love and couldn't wait to finally get that perfect little girl in our arms. I couldn't take my eyes off her. She weighted 7 pounds 12 ounces and 20 inches long. We cherish and love our princess..

Pumpkin Carving!

Rusty, Bryce, Lacey, Haddie, and Luke.. What a great Sunday night at Grandma and Papa's house! We all got to choose a pumpkin from grandma's garden and then carve it! We all had a fun time making our pumpkin face, it brought the kid out in everyone! The cousins love to go to grandma's, they would go everyday if we would let them! You know how it goes, what ever they want grandma gets!!! Once in a while we have to dicipline grandma!(No kiddin'!) We love you guys.. It's always good times a grandma's.

Pamper with Polish!?!

I know this might sound a little silly, but I love to paint my toenails in my alone time! So today the kids all took a nap and I pulled out the polish! I'm not sure why but when I do a little pampering for myself it seems to de-stress me. I know it sounds weird but don't laugh until you try it! So this is what they ended up looking like. French manicure with a flower sticker for the finishing touch..(not bad!)
