Little Dancer

This morning I was getting the kids some cereal and the boys decided to turn on the Christmas Cd. That's when I glanced and Lacey was prancing around! (So dang cute) Instead of doing the jiggin' thing she does some steppin'! Maybe that's a sign she is going to be a clogger! The funny thing is I don't really think we have ever told her to dance. I guess she just felt the beat! We enjoy every second of our little princess and the things she is learning. We love you Lacey girl!!

Talking in Church

Kirby and I got the opportunity(I guess that's what you call it) to talk in church.. Kirby about the priesthood quorum and I about virtue, the new value that's been added to the Young Women's theme. Glad it's over, great relief!

What a Day!!

Kirby and Lacey being miserable together.

Here are Lacey's bandages were she had her blood drawn. ouch!

Bryce and Rusty having a great day in papa's care. Happy boys!

For awhile now Kirby has been talking about wanting to have Lasik eye surgery. Since he works on the computer everyday of his life he thought it would be very nice to not worry about glasses anymore. So he got an eye appointment and decided that he was ready for Lasik! We had to be in Ogden for his appointment at 7:30 a.m. on Thursday. Thankfully, grandpa insisted that he take the day off work to say home with the boys, and that was a definite relief! Thank you, Papa.

Anyway we pulled in at the eye center at exactly 7:30, grabbed our stuff we needed, and Lacey(She's still nursing) And signed in.. An hour and a half went by before it was Kirby's turn, and he was feeling a little strange because they have you take a Valium to calm your nerves. It definitely did that, which was good...

No more than eight minutes and he was done! Easy as that! So we headed for home. On the way though, I decided I was going to see if I could get an appointment for Lacey to be seen by her pediatrician. She has had a fever for 12 days now! I had her looked at and of course it was a virus so we were just enduring it. After 7 days of the fever I called the doctor and he said to just wait it out! Well, I had, had enough of the waiting game. So I did get another appointment and we had to wait in Logan for an hour and a half until her appointment..

1:30 came and we headed into Lacey's doctor. After a quick look at her, and a listen to her lungs the doctor said,"We need x-rays and blood work done, it sounds like pneumonia!" My reply was, "Are you kidding me?" So we headed to the lab. They tried in her arm and leg before they could get a blood sample and then the x-rays were torture for me and her.!

Luckily, the conclusion was showing that she had bacteria instead of a virus, and her lungs were surprisingly clear. So ten days of an antibiotic and all should be well..

We finally made it home and grandpa and the boys were having a great day. Kirby could finally rest and get comfortable and Lacey too.

Sometimes life can be crazy and stressful. AAHHHHH.

Update: Kirby is seeing almost to good!! :) He is so glad he made the decision to do it.
Lacey is fever free and can actually breath enough to be nursed! She's back to her chipper self and Kirby is back to work. What a relief.... And Life Goes ON!!!!!

Family Excursion.

Rusty was a little nervous the animals could still bite!:)
The boys getting a little more daring!

I couldn't believe the size of those horns!!!

Tonight we decided to check out Hardware Ranch. It was pretty cool to see Elk so close. They are totally wild animals that just come to the ranch to get fed in the winter. We had a great time getting to ride in the big sleigh that was pulled by HUGE horses. I really enjoyed learning about the Elk and just being together as a family..
It was pretty breezy and cold but we all snuggled together and stayed warm. After the sleigh ride we headed back into town and decided to top off the night by eating at Sizzler! We all had happy belly's when we left, that's for sure! Thanks Tyree for the great idea.:)
