Came to Life!

Frosty came to life in our front yard today!!! It was so fun while I was doing the dreaded Saturday house work to look out the window and see the boys making a snowman. The snow was perfect for packing and putting together a snowman. (At least what I could see from the porch!!!) Kirby was such a good sport and showed the kids a great time today. It's funny when you put that carrot nose and broccoli eyes and mouth on how he really seems to come to life! :)

Lacey

Lacey fell asleep in her high chair at lunch. I couldn't believe it!

She loves helping unload the dishwasher. Did you know bowls can turn into chairs?!

Can I just say Lacey is always busy but a very happy little girl. She does really silly things and it makes you wonder what is going through that little head of hers. She is just shy of being 18 months old. I can't believe how babies grow. I will be taking her to nursery before I know it!!!
I'm not sure I'm ready for that!

Halloween

Rusty is Ben Ten, Lacey is a Love Bug, and Bryce is a Ninja.

Cousins.

It was a great time finding costumes this year because we totally let the boys pick out their own. Since their getting older they don't need much persuasion. Lacey on the other hand had a little help from mom. We were able to spend the night before Halloween at grandma DeAnn's. We had dinner together and all got to carve a pumpkin to take home. It was so fun the kids loved it. Halloween night we did the famous trunk or treat and went to the grandparents houses and then headed to grandma Debbie's for another yummy dinner and a lot of cousin fun. What could be better to do on Halloween then P.a.r.t.y.!!!

Birthday Boy~

The not so original Birthday cake!

Make a wish, buddy!

Hungry boys!

Bryce's favorite gift was Pokemon Cards. He sleeps with them! :)

What a crew. Bryce has great friends I adore them.

Bryce is 6! It is no fair. I just want to pause life right now. The day was kinda crazy. Bryce told all of his friends he was having a birthday party but he didn't clue in his mom until the night before. So we threw together a little birthday bash with BOYS only!!!
There was presents, pizza, pop, birthday cake, and a lot of playing! Does that make a party? Bryce was so happy and loved having his special day. Happy Birthday Bryce! I can't believe your 6!
Mrs. Lucia and Bryce.

Bryce got to tell all about himself to his class. We had a great time making his poster that explained Bryce. He loves kindergarten and all the fun that goes with it.

Farewell Grandma

My Grandma Kingsford passed away in October. We all miss her so much already but know she is so much happier and healthier where she's at now. She had a long fight with Alzheimer's disease. My biggest worry is if she would not remember me the more the disease progressed but she always recognized me till the end.
I was able to sit with grandma the last three days of her life and tell her how much I loved her and what a wonderful grandma she has been. I learned things from her that she probably had no idea she was teaching me. The funeral was a great day filled with memories and laughs of grandma. I got to speak of memories and it was great to share special moments that I had with her. Grandma will live on in my heart and I know we will meet again.

Dinner

Their is never a dull minute when you have children, is there? Tonight I was cooking dinner while Bryce, Rusty, and Lacey had a great time having rug rides! Kids can have a great time with anything. Their isn't a day that goes by that I don't realize how blessed I am to have 3 little blessings at my feet!!! Oh how I love them!!!

Miracles Happen!

It has been a few weeks now since Rusty went back to Primary Children's to have his kidney stone blasted and the stent taken out. BUT their was a little twist in the story. Prier to all this kidney stone stuff Rusty got many priesthood blessings. Thank goodness for a great daddy.

After Rusty was in surgery for an hour and a half the doctor came to the waiting room and said, "Well everything went great but we could not find a stone and his kidney and ureter look very healthy!" Kirb and I were in shock. Because a marble sized kidney stone just doesn't disappear! The doctor also said I know I am supposed to tell you what happened but I have no explanation or answer for it!!! That's when I said it's a miracle!

After a short 45 minute recovery for Rusty we headed for home. We are so happy to have no kidney stone and no stent! Hooray..

We told Rusty that the kidney stone was gone and the doctor didn't have to take it out but their was no talking about a miracle or any thing else. The next morning I was making breakfast and Rusty was helping me when suddenly from no where he says, " Mom, I know what happened to my kidney stone, Santan put it in my belly, and child of god took it out! Tears instantly came pouring down my face as I said your absolutely right!!!!

Rusty didn't wonder where it went, he just knew!!!

I know that though those priesthood blessings Rusty was healed. I am so grateful for a loving Heavenly Father that hears and answers our prayers.

Rusty and Papa being silly. Papa's always a good sport.

Over Labor day weekend we were able to have one last camping adventure for the year. This is a reunion we always look forward to. With lots of FOOD, FAMILY, and FUN it is a great time. The kids had a great time exploring in the wilderness. It was very nice because the place we stayed wasn't right by the water. So the parents were also able to relax too. It is always great to catch up with aunts and cousins and have a lot of laughs. Sunday night I got the kids in their beds and was able to sneak out to the campfire. We heard scary stories, mission experiences and just crazy life experiences. I sure enjoyed being able to spend that time with cousins I don't get to see very often anymore. So thanks guys!!
Their is only one problem with the camp out. It is never long enough. It flies by and were all packing up before we know it. So the anticipation for next year has already started!!!

Pre-school is in!

Rusty couldn't wait for his exciting day ahead.

Officially a pre-schooler!

I had to post this because. Bryce, Lacey, and Rusty all ready for school. Lacey thinks she's just as big as her brothers!

Ahhhh! I can't believe it! Today I drove Rusty to his first day of pre-school. Where, oh where has the time gone? When I told Rust that he got to start school today his reply was, "For real mom? Or are you just lying?" I couldn't believe that he would ask his mom that!

Rusty was very brave and very excited. I walked him in and found a chair. He was a little hesitant but ready to learn, or PLAY! :) I love this little guy so much! He is such a loving little kid. I am so glad he is feeling better. Can't get enough of that smile. :) :) :)
