My Grandma Kingsford passed away in October. We all miss her so much already but know she is so much happier and healthier where she's at now. She had a long fight with Alzheimer's disease. My biggest worry is if she would not remember me the more the disease progressed but she always recognized me till the end.I was able to sit with grandma the last three days of her life and tell her how much I loved her and what a wonderful grandma she has been. I learned things from her that she probably had no idea she was teaching me. The funeral was a great day filled with memories and laughs of grandma. I got to speak of memories and it was great to share special moments that I had with her. Grandma will live on in my heart and I know we will meet again.

I was sad to hear about your grandma. What a shock that was to me. She was a great lady. You will always cherish great memories of her. It's really neat that you were so close to your grandma. That's how I want my grandkids to feel about me.
