Pumpkin Carving!

Rusty, Bryce, Lacey, Haddie, and Luke.. What a great Sunday night at Grandma and Papa's house! We all got to choose a pumpkin from grandma's garden and then carve it! We all had a fun time making our pumpkin face, it brought the kid out in everyone! The cousins love to go to grandma's, they would go everyday if we would let them! You know how it goes, what ever they want grandma gets!!! Once in a while we have to dicipline grandma!(No kiddin'!) We love you guys.. It's always good times a grandma's.

Pamper with Polish!?!

I know this might sound a little silly, but I love to paint my toenails in my alone time! So today the kids all took a nap and I pulled out the polish! I'm not sure why but when I do a little pampering for myself it seems to de-stress me. I know it sounds weird but don't laugh until you try it! So this is what they ended up looking like. French manicure with a flower sticker for the finishing touch..(not bad!)

Little Swimmer!

What a crazy girl! She totally loves bath time. She kicks and splashes and gets so excited! it's so cute. It seems like the last few times that Lacey has bathed it's a family affair. The boys can't figure out why Lacey doesn't get in trouble when she splashes out of the tub!?! We all just watch her do her little tub routine! It's a good time. After I get her out of the tub, I can't get her dressed fast enough before she is ready for her cat nap!

Mater pickin'

Bryce is such a great helper!(When he wants to be!) Which is most of the time.

Rusty is loving it! He is the bowl holder, and counter!!

Today we have been doing our outside fall clean up. The boys favorite part was picking the cherry tomatoes.. They picked and counted and were having a great time. This is the extent of our garden! After having a baby in May by c-section, I couldn't think of anything worse than getting down to plant a garden! But tomatoes are a must.. We enjoy eating them any way, from tomatoe sandwiches, to salsa, to stew, to sliced in a salad. the boys will walk by and eat them right off the vine! It's been a fun healthy treat, why were playing outside. But we do hope to someday have a real garden! For now we will enjoy what we have time for...

Blessed.

Okay I admit, I love being a stay at home mom! It is so rewarding and challenging all at the same time. But I wouldn't change it for anything.. I love to be home to love and help my kids, and catch all the cute little things they do. I know this will sound crazy but I also enjoy cooking and cleaning!(Yes cleaning!) I totally enjoy a happy family, clean house, candles lit, something yummy cooking on the stove, and being festive during the holidays. This is one of my latest Halloween decorations. I thought it would go well in my kitchen for a center piece. (I was right it does!) Can I just say, I love it...

Theif!!!

Tonight after conference I threw in some orange rolls for a snack. Grandma and grandpa showed up and visited awhile, it was so enjoyable! They got ready to leave and we walked out on the porch to say goodbye when I noticed Rusty was missing! I went back in the house and found him enjoying his orange roll and mine too!!! Little sneak!

Busy Girl.

Lacey is in the stage now of grabbing everything she sees. It is so cute. She totally has to concentrate with all her might! She loves the bouncer. The other night she sat in it why I cooked dinner and cleaned up, before she even made a peep. What a cute smile!

Our Chore!

Here is our new addition to our family!! This is Jade. We went camping a couple of weeks ago and the people in the other camp site came and asked us if we wanted their dog! We had a lab but it got ran over in the spring. Kirby was racing him down the road in the truck and, Kirby won!! Or should I say the truck!!! It was pretty traumatic for us. So we wanted to give this dog a good home. So far so good, and Nobodies allergic to dogs!!(Thank goodness!) Daddy wasn't so excited about the idea cause it becomes his dog in the winter! If you know what I mean.. But were enjoying him for now..

Happy Birthday!

Bryce is 5 years old! I can't believe it! Five years has went by so fast. We had a great day. Bryce went to preschool and got to take spider man cupcakes to his class. Then Dad ran home for lunch and Bryce opened his presents! His favorite thing was the power wing. For dinner we went out for pizza, and them came home and had birthday cake with his grandparents. It was a fun, busy day, and we all went right to sleep when we got in bed.. Zzzzzz...

Bruised Eye?

Rusty loves animals and found this cat outside. We loved and petted it and then it was on it's way. About 5 minutes after bidding the cat goodbye Rusty came and said,"Mom I have a bruised eye." I turned around and started to panic, until I realized he was itching like crazy and had welts all over! So that bruised eye turned into being allergic to cats!!! Now the cat thinks it has a new home,we can not get rid of it. The meaner we are the more it comes around, figure that one out!!
